Our weekend was a truly wonderful experience. The hosts were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The farmhouse itself was charming and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with serene, quiet landscapes that provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I highly recommend this airbnb for anyone looking to enjoy some peace and tranquility in a picturesque setting.

We had a wonderful time. Cottage was beautiful set in lovely surrounding. Alison and Steve were lovely and extremely helpful. Children loved the riding facilities. All the staff at riding school were lovely with the children and very polite. There was lots to do locally and Alison and Steve were always at hand if we needed local advise on places to visit.

We had a lovely stay with our 2 young kids. It is a such a beautiful location and the animals are so friendly. The cottage was really cosy but also spacious. Alison and her husband were so welcoming and accommodating and went out of their way to make it a really memorable trip for us and our kids. Would definitely recommend.

Magical slices of real Devon countryside! Lovely cosy and well equipped cottage. Our hosts were very helpful and even their ponies and cats were friendly! They even let my girl help out with the ponies as she already had experience with them. We would love to go back!

Great property in a fantastic location. Lots to do with family especially with all the farm animals. The cottage was very cozy with all amenities provided, it has 2.5 bathrooms which is very useful for a larger group. The hosts were very friendly and helped with their tips and in providing interaction with the animals for our 2 year old. Overall, would highly recommend.

Never been to this area before but we will be back as soon as we can! Thank you Alison for fitting us in. The caravan, the view were absolutely fantastic. Feeding the little white pony every day was a delight. Can recommend the Hare & Hounds, visit Branscombe (tight roads!).. need longer next time!! The Wildlife - Try and sit out at dusk - two tawny owls swooped in front of the caravan.. and after a night of rain a deer spotted grazing nearby too!! Managed to see swallows all day too before they flew off to warmer climes.

Alison's place is a spacious but cosy farm cottage in such a beautiful setting, surrounded by horse stables and incredible views of rolling hills. There are lots of walks with amazing views right on your doorstep, or you can drive 15 minutes up the road and explore some really beautiful and tucked away fishing villages and beaches. Alison and her partner were so accommodating, even taking my mum on a scenic horse ride for her 60th birthday treat. Really friendly and such a great location, 10/10 service. Thanks Alison! Will be back to explore again when we can.

We had a superb time staying in Stable Cottage. It was ideal for our 4 year-old who was thrilled to "help" Alison out with the horses, loved her riding lesson and all the other farm animals (cats, dogs, sheep etc). Alison and her mother went out of their way to include our daughter in the preparations with the horses and the farm. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful and couldn't have made our stay more comfortable. The farm is set in stunning countryside with an incredible view, is very peaceful and has great walks from the front door. We loved the nearby beaches, swam every day and even managed to catch a mackerel on a fishing trip from Beer which is just down the road. Thanks for having us, we'd love to return one day!

Really enjoyed our time here at Devenish Pitt. We have come here several times over the last 10+ years and have loved it every time. Great time horse riding which was easy and flexible to organise. The house was well equipped, clean and surrounded by a beautiful setting. Was lovely to explore the farm and take in the views. Within driving distance to beaches as well as nice towns and restaurants so enjoyed many happy days out. Also lots of lovely walks and things to do close by. Whenever we stay we don't want to leave! Would highly recommend!

We visited Devenish Pitt Farm and Riding School in August & instantly fell in love with the place. We stayed in the mobile home & we were in awe of the views of the surrounding countryside. Alison & family were so lovely & accommodating, with nothing too much trouble. The children were in their oils with the horse riding lessons, which were fantastic. The huge outdoor area was a massive hit & it was so relaxing to sit on the decking & watch them run & play. We have already booked a return visit for next year & are soon to book in another weekend for this autumn. ‘Devenish-Pitt farm is a jewel immersed in the beautiful scenario of a valley near Honiton. Alison and her family are warm and welcoming but always very discrete, the cottage is lovely and very comfortable and our children were never short of things to do. Constantly looking for the farm animals, they had plenty of opportunity to satisfy their curiosity. In particular they miss Cookie’s morning welcome (the littlest of the farm dogs) and the two neighbour horses always waiting for a bit of attention. The position made it an ideal basecamp to visit the various locations, beaches and natural reserves of Devon and Dorset. We are definitely coming back!’

A review of the caravan and stables. We loved our week there. The peace and quiet, the desirable views and the wonderful and friendly horses. The helpers were so friendly and welcoming. I had a lovely time on Gregory and Harvey. The other horses are lovely too. I made a lot of progress and improved a lot during the week. We very much enjoyed it there and we hope to come again soon

A traditional style farm cottage, plenty of space and very clean, set in a beautiful quiet location in the countryside. We were provided with everything we needed, including logs for the fire (actually we didn't need these as the cottage was well heated) extra blankets and towels. Enjoyed a peaceful morning walk along the country lanes with my daughter, we saw tiny baby lambs in the barn next door, wild rabbits in the field, pheasants and horses. Beautiful spot! Alison was very helpful and on hand to answer any queries.

Alison was great with communication before we arrived and arranged riding lessons for us - the stables are opposite the house. House itself was very clean and well equipped and right in the middle of the Devon countryside.
